  • If you have a spill on your velvet fabric, immediately get a clean paper towel or white cloth and dab the stain to remove as much as possible. Then follow the next steps for best results:
    1. Create a cleaning solution that is 20 parts lukewarm water with a mild soap or detergent and use a soft white cloth to rub the stained area with it.
    2. If the spill is dropped food or a contaminant that hardens, we suggest to gently scrape it away before applying a cleaning solution.
    3. Rinse the area using a second clean white cloth with clean lukewarm water; then allow the area to air dry completely.
    4. Once dry, we recommend using a velvet brush or microfiber cloth to gently brush the area in the direction of the nap in an effort to return the surface to its original condition.
